To describe our getaway in Danao, Bohol as extreme would only be mediocre. What we actually had was a totally-crazy-gravity-defying-hanging-on-for-life thrill.
It was like eight years ago when I was once in Sagbayan Peak. Now I’m back. Sagbayan Peak is a resort on top of a hill providing a view of the Chocolate hills.
After series of planning and scheduling AND replanning and rescheduling of an outing with friends, we’ve finally pushed through. Woot!! Hoot!! (Kudos to us. This definitely calls for a celebration!) Our destination: BOHOL!!
On the 15th day of my vacation, Dadi, Mama and I had the chance to visit again the Monastery of the Holy Eucharist popularly known as Simala Church in Barangay Lindogon, Simala, Sibonga.
It was on a Monday that we went there. We strategically chose to visit that church not on a Sunday or the 13th day of the month so we can avoid the rush of visiting devotees on these days. This is a very good advice to take if you want to experience more the solemnity of the place.
Below are some of the photos I snapped during our visit.
It’s almost 2 years now since I traveled to Manila. It was such an unforgettable experience worth this recollection.
